LANKAPAK 2026 Officially Launched

LANKAPAK 2026, Sri Lanka’s premier international Packaging, Printing, Paper, Plastics and Converting Exhibition, was officially launched recently at Earl’s Court, Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo, marking the commencement of the 27th edition of this leading industry exhibition.

The launch was graced by Mrs. Thilaka Jayasundara, Secretary, Ministry of Industry and Entrepreneurship Development, as the Chief Guest, together with industry leaders, distinguished guests, sponsors and members of the packaging and allied industries.

Organized by the Sri Lanka Institute of Packaging (SLIP) in collaboration with CDC Events, LANKAPAK 2026 will be held from 23rd to 25th October 2026 at the Sirimavo Bandaranaike Memorial Exhibition Centre (SBMEC), BMICH, Colombo.

The exhibition will feature more than 160 stalls representing over 80 companies from Sri Lanka and overseas, creating a platform for technology providers, manufacturers, exporters, suppliers, buyers and industry professionals to connect, explore new technologies and develop business opportunities.

The event will place strong emphasis on innovation, sustainability, resource efficiency, emerging technologies and international market requirements, supporting Sri Lankan businesses in improving competitiveness and exploring new markets.

The SLIP Annual Packaging Congress 2026, under the theme “Rewriting Packaging in the New Global Economic Landscape,” will also be held concurrently on 23rd and 24th October, alongside the Packaging Clinic and Daily Tech Forum sessions.
