LankaStar Packaging Awards 2026 Judging Successfully Concluded

The judging process for the Sri Lanka Packaging Awards – LankaStar 2026 has been successfully completed, marking another significant milestone in this year’s competition.

The LankaStar Awards 2026 has achieved a record-breaking milestone with 356 entries, the highest number of entries received in the history of the competition. This remarkable response reflects the growing interest and commitment of the Sri Lankan packaging industry towards innovation, creativity, quality, and excellence in packaging.

For the first time, the judging process was conducted through the LankaStar Awards Portal, providing a structured and efficient platform for the evaluation of entries. The online judging process continued for nearly one month, allowing the judging panel sufficient time to carefully assess the submissions across the respective award categories.

This was followed by a full day of physical judging, during which the judges reviewed the physical samples and evaluated the entries in detail.

The judging panel comprised 10 distinguished judges, including two international judges, bringing together a valuable combination of local industry knowledge and international expertise. Their professional experience and independent evaluation contributed significantly to maintaining the quality, integrity, and credibility of the LankaStar Awards 2026 judging process.

The Sri Lanka Institute of Packaging (SLIP) extends its sincere appreciation to all members of the judging panel for their dedication, time, and expertise in undertaking this important responsibility.

SLIP also congratulates and thanks all participants who contributed to this record-breaking year. The exceptional number of entries demonstrates the continued growth of packaging innovation and excellence in Sri Lanka.

With the judging process now successfully concluded, the industry looks forward to the announcement of the LankaStar Packaging Awards 2026 winners, celebrating the outstanding achievements of this year’s participants.
